Rise Science is aligned with the government’s primary role, which is to deliver services to people and communities. In the digital era that we are living in, service delivery relies heavily on technology which is a dream for the people who are living in peripheral areas. The rapid evolution of technology has made it increasingly difficult for marginalized communities to remain up-to-date with everything.

The Rise Science initiative aims to promote ICT in the disadvantage communities. This initiative is building the essential capabilities for ICT field which underpins 4IR. It provides training to the teachers, students and community members. This includes, computer literacy, IT training, coding and other related IT skills. Rise Science does not only promote science and technology in peripheral areas but it exposes the learners to the world of possibilities through technology. It seek to eliminate digital exclusion, digital poverty and digital inequality in disadvantage areas. This would promote quality education and minimize drug-abuse in impoverish communities.

Aims and Objectives
The Rise Science aims and objectives includes (but not limited ) to the following:

To assist young people with education, skill development and computer literacy, especially in the impoverish areas.

To increase the usage of ICT services in marginalized areas.

To create equal opportunities for students who lives in rural areas to be the same as the one who are in urban areas

To improve quality education by introducing essential building blocks such as libraries, computer labs, IT training and workshops.
